Dr. Stephen Baker is the Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital and the Executive Regional Chief of MedStar Plastic Surgery. Dr. Baker’s training includes oral and maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, and craniofacial surgery; his practice focuses on surgery of the face with specific expertise in rhinoplasty, chin surgery, and facial skeletal surgery.
He has published several textbooks on rhinoplasty and facial skeletal surgery, as well as over 50 chapters and 100 articles on facial plastic surgery. He lectures nationally and internationally on facial plastic surgery and has won awards for his work in rhinoplasty.
His expertise in nasal surgery includes aesthetic, traumatic, revision rhinoplasty, functional, congenital, and neoplastic. Dr. Baker has offices and sees patients both in McLean, Virginia, and at the Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC.
