Plastic surgery is a delicate art, and it takes years of training and practice to develop the skills necessary to manifest the true beauty behind a person’s face or body. With years of education, training, and experience behind him, Dr. Ross Bunch M.D., ASPS, ASAPS has the vision to see beyond any superficial aesthetic flaws, discovering the cosmetically-balanced potential beneath. A native of Houma, Louisiana, Dr. Bunch studied at Nicholls State University, followed by completion of his medical training at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. After completing his training in General Surgery, he worked as a Plastic Surgery resident at the LSU/Charity Hospital program. During his residency, Dr. Bunch was trained extensively in the delicate art of microsurgery, as well as cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries, working with world-renown facial cosmetic surgeons to develop his expertise. Following his training with top surgeons in the field of rhinoplasty, Dr. Bunch was honored to be accepted into the prestigious Rhinoplasty Society, which is held in high regard throughout the field of plastic surgery. Additionally, Dr. Bunch has extensive training in the art of endoscopic cosmetic procedures, incorporating endoscopic breast augmentation, as well as forehead and mid-face lifts, into his regularly weekly surgical schedule at Plastic Surgery of Tuscaloosa.
As an active member of the medical community in the Tuscaloosa area, Dr. Bunch is an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama’s School of Medicine and is an active member of both the American Society of Plastic Surgery, as well as the National Rhinoplasty Society. He is an active supporter of the University of Alabama’s Cancer Center, where he is a guest lecturer on breast cancer support techniques.
