Dr. David Stoker is a board certified plastic surgeon who is a specialist in nose surgery. He is a course instructor for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the clinical faculty of the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Stoker graduated with honors from Stanford University where he majored in biology and political science. At Stanford he was awarded the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Major Grant for Undergraduate Research. Dr. Stoker studied medicine at the University of California at San Francisco where he graduated as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During medical school Dr. Stoker was actively involved in plastic surgery research and was awarded a first place prize by the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation.
Dr. Stoker did his residency in General Surgery at the New York University Medical Center with Department Chairman Frank C. Spencer, M.D. There he received the British Journal of Surgery Award for the highest score in the department on the National In-Service Training Exam. Dr. Stoker completed his residency in Plastic Surgery at the prestigious Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the NYU School of Medicine. He was trained in plastic surgery by Drs. Joseph McCarthy, Gerald Pitman, Sherrell Aston, Daniel Baker, and the distinguished faculty of the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital.
Dr. Stoker has authored over a dozen publications on state of the art cosmetic surgery topics. He is on the plastic surgery staff at Saint John’s Health Center, Marina del Rey Hospital, and the Lasky Clinic in Beverly Hills.
