Dr. Jacono has presented clinical research and conducted live surgery in front of peer audiences at over 100 plastic surgery meetings and symposiums around the world, hosted by: International Master Course on Aging Skin (IMCAS), European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS), International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS), among others. He has delivered lectures on his innovative facelifting, eyelid lifting and rhinoplasty techniques at the most prestigious universities in America, including Harvard University, Yale University, Stanford University, Columbia University and the University of Pennsylvania. He has also published extensively in medical literature, with over 50 articles appearing in peer-reviewed journals, including Aesthetic Surgery Journal, JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. His highly acclaimed second book entitled THE FACE OF THE FUTURE: Look Natural, Not Plastic was released in 2012. Dr. Jacono’s third consumer book, The Park Avenue Face, is slated for release in the spring of 2018.
In addition to his aesthetic work, Dr. Jacono volunteers for numerous charity organizations aimed at helping children throughout the world with limited medical and financial resources receive surgeries, including cleft lip and palate reconstruction. To date, Dr. Jacono has completed surgery on more than 500 children through missions with Healing the Children, the HUGS Foundation and T.H.A.I Children, among others. He also serves as Senior Advisor to FACE TO FACE, a national project offering pro bono consultation and surgery to victims of domestic violence that have suffered facial disfigurement. To date, Dr. Jacono has provided pro bono reconstructive surgery to over 100 female victims. His work with domestic violence victims was chronicled in the television series Facing Trauma on OWN and Discovery Fit & Health.
A Castle Connolly Top Doctor, Dr. Jacono has also been elected as one of America’s Top Plastic Surgeons by the Consumers Research Council of America and Super Doctors.
